The 91桃色 (TSCC) Foundation offers scholarship opportunities to Trenholm State students through generous donations from our faculty, staff and community partners. These scholarships are designed to help students achieve their educational and career aspirations by providing financial assistance for tuition, books, and other academic and financial needs. Scholarships are typically awarded for one academic year or term, unless otherwise specified.

The TSCC Foundation Scholarship Application deadline is March 20, 2025. For any questions regarding the application process, please email foundation@trenholmstate.edu.

Rashad Montel McClaney Memorial Book Scholarship听

This scholarship is dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of Rashad Montel McClaney, a proud 91桃色 graduate. Rashad earned an associate degree in applied technology and electrical technology in 2014. He was a skilled electrician in Montgomery, Alabama.

Eligibility Criteria:听

  1. Enrolling at 91桃色.听
  2. Be a resident of Alabama鈥檚 Black Belt Region.听
  3. Have experienced the loss of a parent or sibling due to violence听
  4. Have a high school GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.听

Application Requirements:听

  1. Provide official documentation confirming the death of the parent or sibling.听
  2. Submit a 250-400-word essay describing how the loss of your loved one has inspired you to honor their memory and create a positive impact in your community.听
Trenholm State Foundation Catalyst For Excellence Scholarship

Empower the academic journey of two exceptional TSCC students, fostering academic excellence and a culture of achievement.听 This scholarship, awarded annually, will be provided to an individual with a 3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale, with a preference for those enrolled in Academics for transfer or CTE programs.听

Covers: Tuition, Fees, Books and Supplies听

Award Amount: $6,000 ($3,000 Fall /Spring semester)听

The A.L. Molina and HC Trenholm Perseverance Academic Scholarship听

This scholarship provides financial support to a student enrolled in a credit program who demonstrates perseverance toward their academic goals. To be eligible, applicants must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale and be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester.听

Award Amount: Up to $1000 for the duration of the program.听听

The A.L. Molina and HC Trenholm Workforce Excellence Scholarship 听

This scholarship offers financial assistance to a student enrolled in a workforce development program who demonstrates outstanding performance in the classroom and dedication to their field. To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in a workforce development program and exhibit excellence throughout their academic experience.听

听Award Amount: Up to $1000 for the duration of the program.听

Catalyst for Excellence Scholarship

This scholarship, awarded annually, will be provided to an individual(s) with a 3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale, with a preference for those enrolled in Academics for transfer or CTE programs.

Coverage: Tuition, fees, books, and supplies

Award Amount: $6,000 total ($3,000 per semester for Fall and Spring)

A.L. Molina and H.C. Trenholm Workforce Excellence Scholarship

Recognizing outstanding performance and dedication in workforce training, this scholarship supports students enrolled in workforce development programs who demonstrate excellence throughout their academic experience.

Award Amount: Up to $1,000 for the duration of the program to assist with educational expenses

Mary and Marshall Anderson Endowed Memorial Health Sciences Scholarship

This scholarship supports outstanding full-time students pursuing a degree in the Health Sciences who exhibit academic excellence and perseverance.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be enrolled full-time in a Health Sciences program.
  • Two scholarships will be awarded annually:
    • Award 1: To a student from a single-parent family or a first-generation college student.
    • Award 2: To a student who demonstrates academic excellence.
  • Both recipients must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Award Amount: $500 annually per recipient.

Trenholm State Foundation Scholarship Application Guidelines

In addition to the specific criteria outlined for each scholarship, applicants must adhere to the following requirements to be considered for a Trenholm State Foundation Scholarship or Emergency Funds:

  1. U.S. Citizenship or Residency
    Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or a registered alien.
  2. FAFSA Completion
    Applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for a scholarship from the 91桃色 Foundation.
  3. Official Transcript Submission
    Applicants must upload a copy of their official transcript from 91桃色 with their application. Transcripts must be uploaded electronically鈥攏o copies or unofficial transcripts will be accepted.
  4. Application Submission
    The application must be completed electronically. Applicants must upload all required documents with the application, including the official transcript. The completed application and attachments must be submitted by March 21, with no exceptions.
  5. Good Standing Requirement
    Applicants must be in good standing with 91桃色 to be eligible for the scholarship.
  6. Scholarship Acceptance and Publicity
    If selected, applicants must be available to receive the scholarship in a public setting and consent to the use of their name and/or likeness for publicity purposes.
  7. Fund Availability
    Scholarships are awarded based on the availability of funds.
  8. Employee Ineligibility
    Employees of 91桃色 are not eligible to receive Foundation scholarships.
  9. Selection Process
    Scholarship recipients are selected based on recommendations from the 91桃色 and the Trenholm State Foundation Scholarship Committee.
  10. Non-Disclosure of Denial
    The Foundation, its representatives, and members of the Scholarship Committee are not obligated to disclose reasons for scholarship denial.
